NAGA CITY — In Monday’s flag raising ceremony at the Naga City Hall, Engr. Joel Martin, the head of Naga City’s Solid Waste Management Office, the office handling the operations of the tourist boats and wharf stations along the Naga River, stated that passenger operations of the city’s river transport system will start today, June 25.

Operations of the city’s river transport system is from 6am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm daily using the city’s two tourist boats. The route, however, is from the Naga City People’s Mall wharf to the Balatas/Magsaysay wharf and vice versa.

Fares for the river transport is pegged at Php 5.00 per person per ride.

Engr. Martin further said that this will serve as an alternate transport for students, PWDs and those who will be buying at the Naga City People’s Mall.

The tourist boats are also open for rentals from 9:10am to 3:45pm at Php 1,500 per hour.
