NAGA CITY — Sorsogon Province, Iriga City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (DRRMC) tops search for Best Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) and Best City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) – Component City respectively.
In a Facebook post by the Office of Civil Defense – Region V, among the winners were runner ups Camarines Norte PDRRMC for the Provincial category, Masbate CDRRMC for the Component City category, Socio Pastoral Action Center of Daet Foundation Inc. (SPACFI) as the Best Civil Society Organization – NGO category with the Social Action Center – Legazpi as Runner up, Vinzons Pilot High School as the Best School – Secondary Public, Camarines Norte State College as Best School – Higher Education Institution and the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital (BRTTH) in Legazpi as Best Hospital – National Government category.
According to the post, the awarding ceremonies will be announced in July coinciding the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM), the regional awardees will advance to the national level.
